That's A Kissing Book - Except...

We in the west think of kissing as inherently sexual.

Wait, we in America. In Britain when and where I grew up it was acceptable for parents to kiss children…full on the mouth…until you got “too big.” (I.e. until puberty). This was definitely non-sexual kissing but would disturb a lot of Americans!

But here’s where it gets interesting.

Not all cultures kiss! Not all cultures kiss as a sexual thing. We’re only turned on by kissing because we’re told we’re supposed to be.

So let’s talk about kissing, its history, and what its really about.
