Planning for the Fall
So, I have a busy fall (and could use more subscriptions ;).
I am going to Michigan to road trip with some friends at the end of August. We’re mostly going up into the Upper Peninsular.
Just bought tickets to attend SPX, which I find is a lovely little creative recharge and the best bagelry in DC is right there, just saying. Although it’s not as good as the one I found in Pikesville.
Then a trip to St. Louis to visit my father-in-law and go hiking in the Trail of Tears National Forest. There will be loooots of pictures.
Finally, my aunt decided to marry her long term partner on November 15. Have to go home in November again, but this time it will be for a good reason. Also, my uncle was declared cured of lung cancer this week! EFF CANCER in the good way for once.
Oh, and don’t forget Philcon.
So, yeah, pretty busy, but still hoping to get lots of writing done. And my tablet is full of ebooks for the trips, although right now I’m mostly watching the Olympics and catching up on my comics.
(My favorite part of the Olympic ceremonies was the animatronic horse. I know I’m not alone).
