Pasadena, Ho!
Barring some hideous flight problems (Good news, it’s not a Boeing) I’ll be in Pasadena when you read this, doing professional development.
Con season will be over except Origins, which is a semi-vacation, and I’m going to be leaning into trying to get books four and five of Council of Worlds out and done. Book 4 is actually done except for a cover, book 5 still needs to be edited.
I also plan on doing a bonus story to put into the back of book 5. Still contemplating exactly what, but I suspect it will be set on Earth. Not making promises yet, but I think I need something to fill the pages that won’t be filled with the first part of the next book ;).
I won’t be doing the June Books & Brews because it’s the same weekend as Origin, but do plan on doing July. A date and venue haven’t been determined for August yet. Note that if you have anything such as an anthology or periodical with me in, please feel free to bring it to one of these to get it signed.
(I don’t have a signing in Pasadena this year because there’s limited space, but if you’re there and catch me in the corridors, I’ll sign stuff. Not checks, though.)
I have a story in the next issue of The Last Girls Club, too. Watch for that and if you don’t read that zine, go check it out, it’s pretty fun.
That’s all I have for this week. That photo isn’t Pasadena, alas, I don’t have anything great for that far into SoCal.
