Nigeria and Speculative Fiction - is There an African New Wave?
I muse on the future of Black SFF

Black people have always been on the fringes of our genres. Some have seen fantastic success (Chip Delany comes to mind). Others have been marginalized.
But how many African authors can you name? Most people can probably manage Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki, who has reached prominence as an excellent writer of shorter works (I can’t wait to see a novel from him).
Who else is there?
