I’ve been watching Renegade Nell, which has some great horse action in it. Other movies, not so much.

So, I decided to go through some stuff you might see in a movie that a horse person will immediately tell you not to try at home. Some of these are things you won’t even see in movies anymore, because we treat horse actors better than we did a few decades ago. One thing we don’t do the way we used to…and it’s actually very interesting to know how we do it now.

All of these are dangerous, so if you’re writing…consider the danger and the consequences.
