Oh, and this week I found out hoop snakes might actually…there might be something behind the legend. A small snake in Malaysia flees predators by…doing cartwheels.

A larger snake doing that in the desert is thus not infeasible and from a distance could well look like it’s making a hoop!

(Sorry. I love the potential truth behind cryptids).
