Just Who Is Piotr, Really?

WandaVision 1.4 “We Interrupt This Program”
This episode takes place almost entirely outside poor Wanda’s fantasy world.
As I suspected, Geraldine is Monica Rambeau, who got sucked in…and has now been expelled for telling Wanda Vision’s dead.
Powerful chaos witch, dysfunctional coping mechanism. And she’s abducted an entire town to support it. The sitcom is actually being broadcast, too.
Now the outside world knows what’s going on…but who can get through to Wanda? Monica has already tried and failed. Piotr’s dead…who do we get to go in and try talking to her?
At least she didn’t hurt Monica, just yeeted her.
Superman & Lois 4.8 “Sharp Dressed Man”
You would think that losing the beard would make low rent Luthor look more like the real thing. Somehow it makes him less convincing.
Also, he doesn’t deserve the power armor, although at least he mostly stole it instead of building it. Lex is supposed to be capable. Can’t buy it from this version. He challenges Lois to a debate. Things go poorly all around.
Clark discovers he’s losing his powers and that he probably doesn’t have that long to live, because Sam’s heart isn’t 100% compatible. Cross-species transplant. Not likely to end well. Leans more towards him retiring at the end of this.
Or worse.
At least Lois is cancer free? At least we have that?
WandaVision 1.5 “On A Very Special Episode”
Oh boy are things getting interesting. Wanda is now conscious of what she’s doing, but not stable enough to stop doing it.
Vision has worked out what’s going on and isn’t playing along any more.
Monica discovers Wanda converted her nice clothes into that awful 70s outfit. Eww.
CW: The dog dies.
The dog didn’t even have to die. Gratuitous dog death.
What will Wanda do now that Vision isn’t having fun? This has definitely grown on me, although I still am not down with any of the sitcom tropes.
Superman & Lois 4.9 “To Live And Die Again”
Luthor is suing the Gazette and Lois out of existance.
And Superman finally, in the penultimate episode, realizes that two Superboys make more than one Superman. They will never match his strength. But there’s two of them.
And there’s three people to take on Doomsday and Luthor. Let’s see if that works better?
Luthor is even more thug-like in this episode, but I appreciated the heart to heart between Lois and Bruno Mannheim. It worked.
Luthor and McCoy are at odds, even though he just gave her like 40% of LuthorCorp. She just found out what happened to his last girlfriend.
Smallville is under attack and there’s one episode left.
Can one under-the-weather Superman and two Superboys (both Steel suits are out of action) defeat Doomsday and Power Armor Lex?
Obviously yes, but at what cost?
WandaVision 1.6 “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!”
I think they did Halloween just as an excuse to put Wanda and Vision in their old four color costumes. Which look ridiculous on screen.
Turns out Vision can’t leave. Wanda’s reality control is the only thing keeping him alive. And when he tries, she expands the hex.
What does she do with the SWORD clowns? Turn them into actual clowns.
Monica just went back in voluntarily even though Wanda’s reality barrier is rewriting her cells and her mom died of cancer.
Monica has no genre awareness. You know that people who’s cells are changed in superhero stories don’t get cancer. Hello, Photon?
Piotr knows he’s in a sitcom. Who IS that really? I’m thinking it’s not some random transformed member of Westview…
