Hi From Kansas City
Okay, to be honest, I wrote this before I left because I don’t think I’ll be stopping for a moment on Friday…when I will be in Kansas City, Missouri.
(The temptation to walk over to the Kansas side just to say I’ve been to Kansas is high. Then I can make Toto jokes).
Friday evening the Nebula networking reception will be open to the public! If you’re in Kansas City and want to meet some famous writers (and me) and maybe get a few books signed, come to the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza in downtown Kansas City at 8pm. I assume there will be a cash bar.
I’m all packed at the time of writing and ready to go, despite American Airlines’ website deciding confirmation numbers don’t exist. Quite looking forward to it!
Oh, and yes, I have reading packed for the three-hour or so flight in each direction. (It’s scheduled for exactly three hours, but we don’t buy this).
