Happy Thanksgiving

Thankful for life, health, and ponies.
Don’t forget when Small Business Saturday shows up that most authors are small businesses! Buy a book. Ideally from me, but buy a book from somebody. And if you’re mad at Amazon, don’t take it out on authors (but you can get mine from places that are not Amazon).
My next planned outing is Farpoint in February. I’m plodding through the final edits on Council and am still hoping to have Verr out by the end of the year. The verr are my favorite of the aliens I’ve made so far. They’re cute, if I say so myself.
Other than that, heading into winter with hope for spring. Not that winter is bad, but the high winds yesterday blew a lot of the remaining leaves off the trees (and damaged some dreys, poor squirrels). So it’s starting to feel closer to winter than to late fall. More so, of course, for the people who got snow.
The sky’s grey outside, but I have pumpkin spice Wensleydale cheese and left over pie and ham, so…everything’s pretty good, actually.
Going to see Wicked Part 1 on Sunday. It will be interesting to compare it to the stage play. I hope they expanded the right parts.
Hopefully more news next week. Back to getting some stuff done…
