Okay, so first confession: I love half-elves. And a lot of other gamers will think I love half elves because, done right, you can min max the heck out of them.

No, I love half-elves because they stand between two worlds. My primary half-elven character, my little chaos beast Quaneisha, was explicitly designed to avoid “half elf angst.”

Half-elves as a race no longer exist in D&D…and the arguments they used include that the “half” concept is racist.
