Deadpool and Pansexual Representation

Some time back somebody told me one of my protagonists had “no reason” to be bisexual and shouldn’t be unless I showed him dating both men and women. On camera.
I ignored the suggestion to just make him straight. Sometimes bisexual/pansexual/omnisexual representation can be a little tricky. There is that expectation, but bisexual characters (and gay and lesbian) can have adventures in which they don’t actually date or sleep with anyone because, ya know, it’s important.
Good bisexual representation runs the gamut from a character who merely says they’re bi or is seen wearing a bi pride shirt in that one scene to our friend Jack Harkness from Doctor Who, omnislutty and proud of it.
