I had the great privilege to spend a bit of time with Vandi Varma in Pasadena. She’s a leading NASA roboticist and is one of the two people who wrote the operating system all of Nasa’s rovers run off of.

She and the rest of the NASA crew said that we are still using 20-year-old computer technology in space.
