Combs and Flower Petals - The Truth About Medieval Hygiene

We have a lot of myths about the past. One of them is that people in the Medieval period never bathed.
Look, I’ve gone a week without bathing properly while camping before. I can’t imagine anyone doing that by choice!
The argument would, of course, be that they were used to it. But let’s look at the actual evidence for how often Medieval Europeans washed. (I’m being specific here because I don’t know as much about Africans, Asians, or indigenous Americans. But I’m sure they bathed too).
