Wynonna Earp 3.3 "Colder Weather"

Dolls is definitely permanently dead. They don't spend an entire episode on the funeral if somebody's coming back.

I'm sad, I really like the character.

We find out some of his backstory, and we also find out that one of the vampires, Contessa, is Doc's wife, who may have got herself turned so she could wait for him. It's...not clear. But it looks like they're getting back together.

Poor Wynonna. One potential love interest dead and the other likely lost to her.

Also, lots of shenanigans about an envelope that proves to be a photo. And the drugs.

And Dolls is cremated and his remains hidden so nobody can use them in experiments.

(My husband: You don't cremate somebody in a show like this. Too many ways to bring them back).

The drugs don't, by the way, work on revenants.

Wyonna Earp 3.4 "No Cure For Crazy"

Maybe mommy dearest isn't actually crazy. Maybe she's...possessed? Or...something. Either way, she's out of prison, has Peacemaker, and Wynonna is locked up and has to get out.

(And there are revenants in the prison, because of course there are).

Jeremy may have a new boyfriend. I hope so; they're so cute together! Of course, new boyfriend was abducted by a tree.

Yeah, that's how weird this is, and it ends with Michelle locked in the barn and the demon she was hunting mind whammying everyone.

Sigh.

And Jeremy needs to find his new boyfriend. Stat!

The Beauty 1.4 "Beautiful Chimp Face"

We're going to stop testing and double production. Where's the FDA? Just saying. This thing would never be approved in the real world.

But that's not the point. Jeremy appears to be receiving training as a honeytrap. Or something. And somebody has the skins of beautiful people stashed to use for grafts.

It's all pretty...dark, even for this show.

Oh, and Jordan is back, but Cooper doesn't even recognize her now she's been Beauty'd.

I do find it a bit weird that a virus would require boosters, but hey, this is technically science fiction horror. I'll give it to them.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man 1.10 "If This Be My Destiny"

So, lets see. Osbourne has tricked the interns into building an Einstein-Rosen bridge. This does not, needless to say, end well. Although it does end with a Spider-Man, so its not all bad.

Nico is, of course, Nico Minoru, and has been a witch all along. I'd kind of forgotten about her.

And Harry is about to start W.E.B., because of course he is.

This is the kind of season finale that opens up way more threads than it resolves. They're clearly sure they're going to be renewed!

Wizards of Waverly Place 1.1 "Crazy Ten Minute Sale"

I wouldn't cut wizard class to go to a sale. But apparently the star of this show will, which tells me a lot of what I need to know about Alex.

Being an old MG/YA sitcom, it's a little bit after school special, but also does seem like some actual fun...I'm mostly trying to catch up so I can watch the sequel. And the episodes do have the virtue of being, well, short. Which is good, because there's a lot of them.
