Capclave, Ho!

It’s been…a week. A few weeks ago, our friend Becky passed after a long illness.
Her funeral was on Tuesday. In Minneapolis. So, yeah, fly to Minneapolis, attend funeral, fly back.
Well, attend celebration of life put together by overgrown theater kids. Becky spent 13 years as lighting director at the Children’s Theater Minneapolis…so her celebration was quite something to watch.
Then one day between that and Capclave, which included a trip to…my dentist.
Surprisingly, I’m not going into the con exhausted.
Here’s my schedule:
Friday, 5pm – Forbidden Books (mod)
Friday, 8pm – What Tangled Webs We Weave…
Friday, 9:30pm - Speed Writing – the silly edition!
Saturday, 5:30pm – Queer In Space
Sunday, 1pm – Book launch
The Friday 8pm panel is the polyamory and found family panel and as I’m really noodling on the Song of Starlight series now, it felt like a good place to be. The downside is limited time to acquire alcohol before silly writing, and that is best lubricated! I may have to crack the bottle I’m taking to share.
And please come to my book launch. I am really worried nobody will come to my book launch. It’s the launch for Herding Cats, so very niche to start with.
Hopefully I’ll see some of you there!
