Summer programming and video from Evergreen Tacoma

Hello. Yesterday there should have been a new issue of Notes From Table 30, but I was busy graduating with my Bachelor's Degree from The Evergreen State College Tacoma and then doing the appropriate celebrating afterword.

Since the school year and my status as a student at Evergreen are over, I'm no longer employed as a writing tutor in the Writing Center. This means that currently I'm both not in school and not employed. I have more free time than I have had in recent memory. That said, I still have quite a lot I'd like to get done and I want to keep this newsletter as interesting as I can. So beginning next week, Notes From Table 30 will be going to a biweekly format. You'll get a new issue every other week at least for the duration of the Summer.

Also, I know some of you have been interested in seeing the video of my senior presentation at Evergreen Tacoma. The link is below. Before you click on it, I should let you know that the speech is followed by a tradition at Evergreen Tacoma called 'Give Back'. Give Back is something we do after someone speaks to the school. We put them in a chair in front of everyone and they receive praise and thanks for what they shared. In the case of graduating seniors it is an opportunity for those who want to say something nice to those students who are leaving.

Feel free to let me know what you think of the speech and we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week.
