05/28/21: Design Festival Submission
I spent most of this week working on my Amber-inspired Powered by the Apocalypse game, Blood of Meridian. The folks over at Magpie games are having a Design Festival next month in which they provide design feedback on a game submissions and a selection of the games are playtested. I'm submitting BoM, in case it wasn't obvious.
BoM is about a family with complicated relationships who suddenly have to deal with the disappearance of their father and threats to their home. Also, there are multiple dimensions and almost everyone is terrible (though I suppose that is 100% guaranteed, just likely).
Overall, I think the game is in decent shape but, as I always do, I think it needs more playtesting. So, the feedback will be welcome.
I may have also had a breakthrough in my thinking about the Street Wise game but I’m going to noodle on that a little.
