J-Fish Toyosu price update – week ending June 21
In the week ending June 21, 2026, compared with the week ending June 14, 2026, skipjack tuna (katsuo) showed the clearest week-on-week move at Toyosu, with the average price falling from JPY 929/kg to JPY 820/kg (-11.8%) as weekly volume rose from 173,870 kg to 212,345 kg (+22.1%).
The six-month chart shows a clear pattern of softer prices as arrivals increase into spring and early summer, while the sharp price spike around the New Year period likely reflects year-end and holiday demand.
