Upcoming Infidels Jazz Shows (ONE IS FREE!): May 9-12
Infidels Jazz is heading into an exciting weekend of shows, presenting 5 concerts at 4 venues over 4 days!
It all starts on Friday with the Free Time Trio, a group of Vancouver's finest improvising musicians that consists of Dominic Conway, Nikko Whitworth, and Kevin Romain. This takes place at the Zameen Art House, and is part of our New Thing series co-presented with the NOW Society.
On Saturday we're presenting one of our coolest shows, and it's absolutely FREE! Chen Baker sold out their last two shows for us at the Fox & Hero's Welcome, and now they're performing your favourite J-Pop hits at Fortune Sound Club, FOR FREE. All you have to do is sign up for a free ticket at the link below. We're expecting a big turnout, so make sure you sign up for the ticket.
We've got trumpeter Brownman Ali in town at Frankie's After Dark this Friday & Saturday, and he's performing both nights with his BROWNMAN ELECTRYC Trio, featuring Colin Sankey and Jordy McIntosh. Both shows start at 11PM and are only ten bucks.
Martin Jasinski has been making waves on the scene in Vancouver with his skills as a guitarist, and he'll be making his Infidels debut as a bandleader at the Hot Deli on Monday, May 12 with Ma'Afu Keteca, Piyotr Kao, and Karl DeJong.
