Upcoming Infidels Jazz Shows: May 2-5
Infidels Jazz is heading into our biggest weekend ever, presenting 8 concerts over 4 days, featuring over 50 musicians at 7 different venues!
It all starts on Friday with Universal Consciousness, a very special celebration of 1970's jazz featuring live tributes to Sun Ra, Miles Davis, Pharoah Sanders, and Alice Coltrane. It's happening at the Rickshaw and is shaping up to be one of our biggest concerts ever.

We’re back at the Kingsway Club on Saturday with Sargeant X Comrade, one of the hottest soul projects in the country. They're on the verge of releasing their second album, and they'll debut some of that new material on Saturday.

We're also back at Tyrant Studios on Saturday, with MAFUBA. This is a very unique jazz-groove group all the way from Montreal! If you love your jazz funky and hip, this is the show to be at.

Sunday sees a rare duo performance from two of Canada's best: Gordon Grdina and Hamin Honari. This is happening at Zameen Art House, which has been the home for some of our more unique & creative shows.

On Monday, the Woodland Critter Quartet comes out of hibernation for their second show with us, at the Hot Deli, featuring four of the best jazz fusion musicians in Vancouver.

We've also got two great shows at Frankie's After Dark this weekend, with DM Electric Ko on Friday, and the Chris Fraser Trio on Saturday!
And last but not least, Montreal-based trumpeter Duncan Hunter Neale leads a quintet of that city's very best musicians at Hero's Welcome, for our Sunday Series there.
