The Electrifying Seamus Blake Returns to Vancouver

Seamus Blake is one of Vancouver's most famous jazz “exports”. He's made a name for himself all over the world as one of this music's most exciting and creative saxophonists, as well for performing and touring with everyone from Dave Douglas to Pink Floyd's Roger Waters. On November 2nd, Seamus makes his triumphant return to his hometown with a very special tribute to the music of Eddie Harris at the Rickshaw Theatre. He'll be backed by an all-star band, featuring Sam Yahel on organ, Tim Lefebvre on bass, and Corey Fonville on drums. In addition, there will be an opening set by one of Canada's hottest contemporary jazz-funk groups, the Mary Ancheta Quartet. Don't miss out on Seamus' big return!
