Paul Pigat, Steve Maddock, and the best of the local Jazz scene

The upcoming weekend is the kind that we love the best here at Infidels Jazz, as it focuses on small shows featuring the very best talents in Vancouver's Jazz scene.

It all starts on Sunday with singer Steve Maddock at our Sundays at Hero's Welcome series. This is Steve's first big show for us as a leader, and we've got lots of great shows planned with him in 2026. Come check out one of Canada's best Jazz singers for only $10!

Andrea Superstein will be playing the Robson Skating Rink series that night, and pianist Jancis Bautista will be leading our Trio's at Meo Chinatown series as well!

Drummer Jack Colbourne will be leading his first Infidels show on Monday night at our Pass the Hat series. This series has been shining a light on young Jazz talent, but this is our first night at the Heatley! Ruthie Ha has been a big part of Infidels Jazz show for a while now, and they'll be on saxophone for this show.

Paul Pigat is known as one of the country's foremost roots, country, and rockabilly musicians, but every once in a while he shows his jazz and swing influences, and that's what he'll be doing on Tuesday night at the Painted Ship, as part of our Sea Legs series. This one is only $10!
