One of Canada's greatest Jazz pianists returns to Vancouver
Andy Milne is widely considered to be one of our country's greatest Jazz pianists, and he'll be returning to Vancouver next weekend.
On February 28, Andy will be performing two very rare solo piano sets at the VIFF Centre, paired with the West Coast debut of True North. This is a documentary about the Canadian Black experience directed by Michèle Stephenson, with an original score by Andy himself. Thanks to Yamaha and Tom Lee for providing the piano that Andy will be playing on.
Andy will also be performing at Frankie's Jazz Club the next night on March 01, and will be joined by local scene anchors Jodi Proznick & Joe Poole!
