Juno-winning Cat Toren makes her Vancouver return

Cat Toren is a Juno Award-winning pianist, improviser, and composer originally from Vancouver, now residing in Belllingham, Washington. Known for her work with Pugs & Crows and her years as a cornerstone of the Vancouver Jazz scene, Toren returns home on October 24 with her much loved and much missed band: Human Kind.

This group updates 1960s spiritual jazz in new and fresh ways, ensuring that jazz never strays too far from its socially conscious roots.
