Infidels Jazz events coming up this week (Nov 6-10)
Infidels Jazz is excited to be presenting five great jazz shows this week!
The third installment of our Big Bands at the Pearl Series is taking place this Sunday, November 10, as the Leading Ladies take over this hot Granville Street Venue. They'll feature special guests like Dawn Pemberton, Kate Yahn, and Krystle Dos Santos and will be performing R&B & pop covers that aren't usually in their repertoire. Come check out this all-female ensemble as they play their biggest show of the year! Tickets are on sale now.
Tomorrow night, Thursday, November 7, Postcards From Zambia are performing what is possibly their last show ever as part of our Social Music series at Hero's Welcome. Leader Jason Winikoff is leaving Vancouver shortly, so we're both happy and sad to be presenting this creative group one last time. Their music is a polyrhythmic fusion of modal jazz and traditional percussion music from various Zambian cultures, and the group features Feven Kidane on trumpet.
More Infidels Jazz shows this week
We’re presenting two exciting shows at Frankie's After Dark on Friday & Saturday night with Dan Gaucher & Teapot In The Tuba respectively. It's always a great time when Dan plays After Dark, and Teapot In the Tuba has a really creative show planned for us on Saturday.

On Hold with Teapot in the Tuba - Nov. 9
These shows start at 11PM and are only $10.
Sundays at Hero's Welcome happens every Sunday afternoon at 2PM. This Sunday will feature our bi-weekly jam session, with the Bernie Arai Trio hosting. Jazz musicians are welcome to sit in. Learn more here.
