Infidels Jazz events coming up from November 12-17
Infidels Jazz is excited to be presenting five great jazz shows this week!
We are so excited to be back at the VIFF Centre on Saturday, November 16 with the next edition of our long-running series of Jazz and film collaborations. This one will feature trailblazing trumpeter Feven Kidane, performing original music inspired by the new documentary Soundtrack to a Coup D'Etat.
Early bird tickets are currently on sale at the link below, and are selling quickly. Feven’s last performance at VIFF sold out in record time, and we’re expecting the same for this one.
More Infidels Jazz shows this week
We are presenting two exciting shows at Frankie's After Dark on Friday & Saturday night, featuring Cory Weeds & Karl DeJong respectively. This is only Cory's second time doing an After Dark for us, and Karl has been the drummer behind dozens of great Infidels shows over the last few years.
These shows start at 11PM and are only $10.
Sundays at Hero's Welcome happens every Sunday afternoon at 2PM. This Sunday will feature the great drummer Dan Gaucher, leading a quartet that will pay tribute to a true jazz icon: Thelonious Monk. Learn more here.
We also have a special Sunday edition of our Pass the Hat at the Lido series, featuring a wonderful young trombonist: Ricardo Galvez. Our Pass the Hat shows start at 9PM, and we pass a hat (literally) to pay the band.
