Infidels Jazz Celebrates the Holidays!
We're in full holiday mode over here at Infidels Jazz HQ, and we're pleased to present 20 concerts in December that are sure to scratch that holiday itch.
Our biggest holiday show this year is at the Hollywood Theatre on December 20, and it features Casey Thomas-Burns' Leading Ladies performing the music of Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite. This is a rare opportunity to hear one of the city's premier big bands perform this Christmas classic.
They'll also perform this music at the VIFF Centre on December 14, along with a screening of a new documentary about the Nutcracker Suite.

Dean Thiessen debuts his new Peanuts project this December with two great shows. His VIFF Live show is sold out already, but he also plays the music of Vince Guaraldi at Hero's Welcome on December 21.

Our Trio's at Meo Chinatown series will be featuring Christmas music every Sunday right up until December 25th, with Chris Fraser, Matt Franceschini, and Kosma Busheikin playing jazz versions of your favourite holiday classics.

Our Robson Skating Rink shows have been popular so far with 12 great bands playing live music while you take your family to the skating rink.

December should always be a time for helping others when you can, and so we're presenting our fourth annual Food Bank Jam Session at Hot Deli on December 22. Both Matt Francheschini and Improv Karaoke will co-host this jam, and we encourage the entire jazz and creative music communities to come out and help.
