Free Jazz + Punk Legends = Good Times
Bill Orcutt (Harry Pussy, Bill Orcutt Guitar Quartet), Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Ethan Miller (Comets On Fire, Howlin' Rain) have been at the forefront of American punk, free jazz, and experimental music for decades. They'll be performing in Vancouver as a trio for the very first time on September 9th, in support of their brand-new album.
It's all happening at the Rickshaw Theatre, and we've enlisted Vancouver free jazz mavens KneeJerk, fresh off the release of their second album for the Infidels label, to join the bill.
