Chicago Jazz Legends, African Music & Soul Pioneers
Infidels Jazz is presenting a stacked lineup of concerts this week, with 13 concerts at 8 different venues!
It all starts this Thursday at Tyrant Studios, with Montreal's Dream Keepers, ft. Ayelet Rose Gottlieb & Hamin Honari.

Chicago Jazz legend Kahil El' Zabar has been responsible for some of our most memorable concerts to date, and he's going to be back in Vancouver this Friday with his Ethnic Heritage Ensemble!

Toronto's Free Label have been getting audiences onto the dance floor for a decade now, and they'll be headlining the Hollywood Theatre on February 06! Fusion shredders Chopping Spree will be opening for them, fresh off their sold out show at the Fox in January!

On Saturday, two of Vancouver's most exciting African music ensembles share the stage for the first time at the Fox Cabaret: Yoro Noukoussi's African Masters & the Kidannes Ethio-Jazz Ensemble! This one is almost sold out!

Jackie Shane was a true pioneer of 1960's Soul Music & Transgender rights, and on Februrary 07 Krystle Dos Santos will be performing that icon's music at the VIFF Centre, along with a screening of a documentary about Shane's life & music.

Asef has sold out every Infidels concert they've done, and we're expecting no less from their appearance at the Zameen Art House on Sunday. This group is led by Saul Berson, and fuses middle eastern music with Jazz.

We're back at the VIFF Centre on Feburary 10 with Paul Pigat's Cousin Harley! They'll be playing some of their favourite rockabilly classics, and then we'll watch a screening of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story!

In addition, we'll be back at Frankie's After Dark with Patrick Kao & Stanley Zhang, back at the Robson Skating Rink on Sunday with Tess Meckling, and at Meo Chinatown with Josh Krushel, Alvin Brendan & Colin Sankey!
