Butoh Dance, the Egyptian Jazz of Maktoub, and Canadian legend Phil Dwyer

We've got a really diverse weekend of music ahead, with 7 concerts at 6 different venues!

It starts at KW Studios on Friday night, as the Kokoro Theatre Dance Society will be collaborating with Tony Wilson and other members of Vancouver's Jazz scene.

missingNo was the original Vancouver video game music band, and they'll be bringing the soundtracks of your favourite video games to the Rec Room on Saturday night!

Ahmed Maher's Maktoub is releasing a new album, and we're celebrating with a special concert at the Alliance Francais Theatre!

Phil Dwyer is quite simply one of the greatest Jazz musicians Canada has ever produced. He's a member of the Order of Canada, has been on 10 Juno-winning recordings, and has played with everyone from Diana Krall to Aretha Franklin. We're so excited that he'll be playing his very first Infidels Jazz show this Sunday at Hero's Welcome. And it's only $10!

All this, plus Chelsea McBride & Suin Park will be playing at Frankie's After Dark, and Tess Meckling will be playing Meo Chinatown!
