From the roots of Afro-Cuban music to Clavé infused Jazz, this Vancouver based group—led by percussionist extraordinaire Jack Duncan—illuminates and illustrates the evolving historical intersection of Jazz and traditional Afro-Latin music. Featuring musicians that have been involved in Grammy- and Juno-Award winning projects, Conga Cartel not only thrills audiences with their great music, but also gets them up on their feet while doing so.
