ION Glasgow December Update

Thanks to those who were able to make it to the meeting last week! If you’d like to catch up, you can find notes at the bottom of the agenda document.
We continued discussions about ION’s: purpose, approach to conflict resolution, ground rules, scope and boundaries, plans for 2025.

Next Meeting(s)
We’re aiming to have the next public meeting in late February or early March, 2025. This gives us time to finalise some internal organising and do outreach for a soft “relaunch” of ION that is more outward-facing.
To this end, we’re looking to setup up a temporary event planning working group who can work on: venue booking, agenda creation, outreach, comms, etc. If you’d be up for helping out, please do reach out!

Share your thoughts on renaming ION to replace “interstitial” with something more welcoming.
Add your comments and feedback to the latest version of the ION Glasgow Mission Statement.
Reach out if you’re interested in joining or forming a working group (current groups are focused on: communications & digital tools; community & conflict resolution; ION’s mission statement; and event planning and logistics).
