Hello, and happy Pride!

There are a couple upcoming events that we wanted to remind you of.

First, we’re excited to again march in the Pride parade on Saturday, June 13! We want to make our presence memorable, and remind everyone of the connection between Palestinian liberation and collective liberation. Join us! Bring your keffiyehs, Pride and Palestinian flags, and signs. The parade begins at 12pm, so join our group around 11am at Boone and Washington (check out our Instagram and Facebook with the exact location as the event approaches.

To prepare, we’ll have our Pride Art Build tomorrow, June 9, at 5:30pm, on the Saranac Rooftop (accessible via the City Line). We’ll have all necessary art supplies, but bring an apron if you’re worried about acrylic/permanent paint.

On Sunday, June 21 at 1:00-3:00pm, we’ll have the Spo-Candidates Meet and Bingo at Central Library, with 15 candidates confirmed to be there! Join us in asking these candidates questions about the issues that their future constituents care deeply about.

Finally, we have our June Book Club of The Perfect Victims, at 5:30pm on June 25 at One Tree Cider House (accessible via the 25 bus line).
