Upcoming Events - Book Club, Film Screening, Happy Hour and More!

Before jumping into our upcoming events, we first wanted to celebrate a recent small win we saw in Congress. Last night, 40 Senators voted to block at least one of two resolutions to block bulldozers and 1,000-pound bombs to the Israeli military. While these resolutions did not pass the Senate, both Washington Senators Cantwell and Murray voted in favor of them. This is the first time Senator Cantwell has voted in favor of blocking weapons to Israel, showing just how crucial it is that we continue our collective efforts to hold our elected officials accountable to their constituents and to international law. We cannot stop talking about Palestine because then our elected officials will care even less than they already do. If you have a second to thank our senators for supporting these resolutions (even if they are doing the bare minimum), you can do so here.

With that, we’ll jump into our upcoming events!
