SEATS STILL AVAILABLE FOR FROM GROUND ZERO THIS SATURDAY!
It’s not too late to reserve seats for INWCLP’s next film screening! This Saturday, February 28th at 3:00 (doors open at 2:30), Magic Lantern will feature Palestine’s submission to the 97th Academy Awards and the 2024 Toronto Film Festival, From Ground Zero: Stories from Gaza
From Ground Zero: Stories from Gaza is a powerful collection of short films by 22 filmmakers living through war in Gaza, presented in association with The Mashawari Fund for Films and Filmmakers in Gaza. Through a unique blend of animation, documentary and fiction, the stories capture the steadfastness of the human spirit and enduring creativity that thrives even in the face of relentless devastation. The short films were curated by filmmaker Rashid Mashawari and designed to give a voice to the people of Gaza and to document their day-to-day experiences, many of which go unheard by the outside world.
After the film, please join us for a discussion led by Abby Saks of the INWCLP and Jewish Voice for Peace Spokane.
Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. FOR RESERVATIONS AND DONATIONS to the INWCLP: RIGHT CLICK to open reservation tab here
