Hello, again, Peace and Justice Partners!

The INWCLP was pleased to welcome Elie and Isaac from Do Better Gonzaga/Gonzaga Students for Justice in Palestine to our meeting last night. They shared information about their action planned for this Sunday - an action that we think you will all want to support.

They will gather near the Starbucks at Sharp and Ruby at 1:00 on Sunday to clearly (and loudly, as in our recent street actions) express their opposition to Israel's genocide, and to welcome and support incoming GU students who want to do the same, in defiance of GU's policies to suppress student expression.

You are encouraged to bring signs opposing Israel's genocide and starvation campaign and the U.S.'s complicity in it, and those calling for GU and other institutions to divest from Israel, as well as empty pots and utensils/other noisemakers, and, of course, your voice.

Students lead the way in this movement - let's give them our full support!

The INWCLP and PSL have finalized plans for Pig-Out-In-The-Park! Please help us get the word out!

THERE ARE TWO PARTS TO THIS ACTION:

A CHALKING ACTION: On Wednesday, August 27th, we will meet up at the corner of Spokane Falls Blvd across from City Hall to chalk the sidewalks in and around Riverfront Park, with messages that oppose Israel's genocide, starvation campaign, killing of children, and the U.S.'s complicity, support and participation in those atrocities.

A SILENT VIGIL: On Saturday, August 30th, at 3:00, we will meet up at the Federal Building and huddle for instructions. At 3:15, we will proceed together to Riverfront Park, where we will gather in a SOLEMN, SILENT VIGIL, bearing witness to the lives (particularly the lives of children) snuffed out by Israel in recent years.

We will supply signs and visuals, and will be streamlined for mobility. All you need to bring is yourself and your HEART for suffering humans! (Though you might want to be prepared for the heat and sun with sunscreen and your own water. )
