Hello , INWCLP Members,

INWCLP and Jewish Voice for Peace Spokane member Morton Alexander mentioned the following event at the UUJME screening of Gaza Journalists under Fire last night. It is organized by the St. Ann Matthew 25 Ministry.

Some of us (the older ones!) might remember that St. Ann's stepped up in the eighties as a sanctuary church, housing a family fleeing Salvadoran state violence, and in support of the late Central American priest, Oscar Romero and other proponents of "Liberation Theology."

This event is described as an "Ecumenical Peace Prayer Vigil, in Solidarity with Immigrants and Refugees," and will take place in front of the Federal Building, tomorrow (Sunday) from 4:00-5:00.
