Thanks to the many of you who signed up for the March–April courses this week! We still have a few spots left, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us we recommend signing up soon … as they’re going fast! Here are the offerings for kids and adults.
We’ve been busy bees behind the scenes and are on the verge of a few biiiiig announcements (!). In the meantime, below you’ll find info on our next one-off classes—many of which offer chances for parents and kids to spend quality time being creative side by side!

This Saturday: Knitting, Apparel Design, Mixed-media watercolour
On Saturday morning, bring your needles and yarn for our knitting class, where Sandra Moretti will teach you new skills (and give you the confidence to make more progress at home!).
In the afternoon, one spot just opened up in our popular Apparel Design session, where you can sew, stamp, use appliqués, paint, or draw your way to the standout piece of your spring/summer wardrobe!
That evening, Sarah Aranha helps you to go with the flow with watercolours, pencils, and pencil crayons in this session for adults. (Brian, who is decidedly not an artist, attended in November and his artwork has pride of place in our home office!)
Next weekend: Stuffy apparel & hand-built ceramics
Have your kids ever asked, “Why don’t stuffies wear clothes?” The fun answer is, “They can! Let’s sign up for Hot Pizza’s Stuffy Apparel class!” Bring your favourite fuzzy friend and we’ll help you kit it out in the design of your dreams!
Longtime faculty member Salina Ladha is a ceramics master. She’s taught popular courses for us; this is her first one-off hand-built ceramics class. Learn how to sculpt vessels and other forms in a session that’s especially great for kids who love sensory exploration!
