Hey fren,

"How is my beloved artiste Helmut?" you may ask yourself. To which I might reply: Well thank you I´ve been somewhat secluded in my newly established home studio, writing, recording, arranging and mixing my way towards album IV. And it`s still some ways from being finished.

I do however have a little something for you today in the way of news! As an avid follower of the social media you might already be aware: there is a new cancion in my public repertoire. It's called Vallabye and the fruit und bebe of a collaboration with my new skilled friend Valeria Stoica, who happens to be a great writer and singer and overall person. We'd been talking on the internet since a while but finally got to meet up for a first studio session in Berlin last fall.

The heartwarming music video featuring Valeriu "Tata" Stoica was filmed mere weeks ago when the two of them returned to Berlin to collaborate on this no doubt career making project. I am a big fan and highly recommend giving this one a closer look and listen.

Also, to celebrate the release of Vallabye and to improve on my Romanian skills, I visited Valeria in Bucharest and joined her on stage. That was fun and cute. Also, what a city. Loved my nightly strolls in those dimly lit alleys between old and withered villas and socialist high-rises.
