NZ Sim Racing
NZTEC Pre-Qualifying Results. This years big iRacing championship got underway with a time trial at Oultan Park. Lots of familiar names have made it through include past champion and title contender Antal-Rafael Sabo and Ewan Baker. There’s even drivers with real world experience such as Ayven Dunn (Historic Formula Ford & MX5s) and Tom Bewley (Toyota 86s).
The final stage of qualifying is on April 14th before the season starts April 28th streamed live on NZ Sim Racing TV.

Sim racing at Chch Armageddon. Supa karts brought the sim racing this year with a time trial competition around Bathurst in Supercars (on Assetto Corsa). With a $200 voucher on the line Supa Karts were keen to promote their 4 new simulators available for use alongside their go karting.
Welly armageddon is April 18-20th. I’d love to hear from those that go along.

McEwen wins Mega Safety Car Time Trial. Matthew McEwen set the Nurburgring Circuit Experience world record on his way to winning the Mega GT7 time trial challenge.
Facebook announcement.Mega Race Day results. Much like last time it was again the Aussie Paul Kandanoleon (Noodles) stealing the show with three race wins and the largest share of the $1,000 prize pool. Matthew McEwen and Simon Bishop were familiar kiwi names at the front, each getting race wins and $250+ in prize money.
