March Sim Racing Updates
Cash prizes available in NZ competitions as a big year of sim racing rolls on.

Stefan McCartain wins Matchfit Phillip Island 500. 36 drivers took to iRacing in GT4s to fight for the Phillip Island title. It was kiwi Stefan who emerged victorious ahead of Jenson Bade and Rehan Liyanage. Stefan earnt himself up $300 for his troubles with $200 and $150 awarded to Jenson and Rehan respectively, plus $50 to each of the remaining top 10.
Nico Cordier picked up a full MOZA R3 bundle thanks to winning the viewer giveaway.
Watch the broadcast.Matchfit Road America 450 set for April 19th. Following on the success of Phillip Island the prize pool has been ramped up to $2,000 worth. Racing in Porsche 992 cup cars this time around the iRacing special event takes place April 19th from 2:45pm (unfortunate timing for those heading along to the Supercars at Ruapuna).

F1 Sim Racing back for 2026 season. Kicking off March 27-29 at DreamHack as the first of a 4 round championship. With a $750,000 prize pool it remains the pinnacle of racing esports. Notably neither Audi or Cadillac will field teams.

Supercars coming to NZ in April. Grandstand and pit passes selling out, general admission still available. Last year saw 4 different sim racing events trackside to add to the fun.
