Hectic Motorsport News July 👀
Not many big events this month but with some big announcements the second half of the year is looking good.
NZ Sim Racing
William McDonald goes back to back in X-Golf/Racing Sims competition. The time trial competition was this month in the Formula Renualt around Sandown on iRacing.
William McDonald: 1:08.443 - $600

NZ iRacing communities in big collaboration. Kiwi Sim Racing (KSR), Supercars NZ, Virtual Racing Aotearoa, Sim Motorsport NZ, and NZ Esports are all teaming up for a new initiative, the NZ Sim Racing Collective with shared Twitch/Youtube channel NZ Sim Racing TV. Also note worthy is Kiwi Sim Racing & Supercars NZ registering with NZ Esports.

Motorsport NZ (MSNZ) Esports Pass announced. Last month I complained about MSNZ sitting on free iRacing licenses but now we know they were holding them to announce alongside some bigger esports news, the MSNZ Esports Pass. NZ drivers with the pass will be able to sign up to MSNZ officially endorsed events and access exclusive resources.
The first such endorsed event will be the return of the Tri-Nations Esports Cup between NZ, Aussie, and the UK. In last years event Ewan Baker was the top kiwi and driver of the day.
