Two months in and we’ve already witnessed what is likely NZs most prestigious sim racing series of the year, league racing is in full swing, and game updates are coming thick and fast.

Cooper Prout crowned NZ Toyota 86 E-Cup (NZTEC) Champion. Avoiding the chaos Cooper became NZ champion in style winning the final two races of the season.

Supercars NZ V8s Autumn Series announces $2,000 prize pool. The long running iRacing league is stepping up the prizes for their upcoming season with $500 for 1st, $300 for second, continue all the way down to $50 for 10th.
Follow SupercarsNZ on facebook for upcoming series entry announcements.Supercars NZ GT3 series also features $2,000 in prizes. Once again the GT3 series will by running alongside the V8s and for the upcoming Autumn series also features the mega prize pool.
Join their discord to take part.Enduro for Men’s Health looking for support. The race raised over $5,000 last year and is looking to go even bigger in 2026. The format has already been announced for June 13th running TCR cars around Adelaide on iRacing but the team is now putting the call out for bribe ideas to encourage donations during the race along with any other support and ideas the community can offer.

iRacing Arcade releases March 3rd. Originally intended to release last December the lastest game from the iRacing umbrella, from the developers of Circuit Superstars, is finally coming in just few days. Initially only available on Steam.
Official website.Trackmania announced for Esports Nations Cup. Saudi Arabian organisers of the Esports World Cup have announced the new Nations Cup event will take place in November, in Saudi Arabia. Trackmania is one of 26 games included. This is the same group that will host the first Olympic Esport Games in 2027 so the Nations Cup may be an indication of what we can expect from that.
Official details.Nacon files for insolvency. After recently picking up the WRC license that project is now at risk as the company has run out of money to pay it’s debts. We could see the end of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, Endurance Motorsport Series before it’s released, and the loss of the MXGP licenses the company currently owns, along with the recent Revosim hardware venture.

NZ League Racing
Aus/NZ Endurance Series round 1 delayed. The ACC endurance series was originally scheduled to kick off March 22nd but that has now been delayed with an upcoming announcement “as soon as everything’s sorted”.

Full details.Manawatu Car Club Summer Series in full swing. The winter series was won by none other than Cooper Prout but with his focus elsewhere it’s time for a new champion. Graeme Wall has an early lead 3 rounds into the 7 round season. Late entries are welcome in the series that runs Radicals on iRacing every two weeks.
