That time Jesus dropped by The Beatles' Studio

Jesus dropping by The Beatles' Studio to see Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band recording.

The Beatles are know globally for many things, but I bet you didn't knew they met with Jesus in 1967.

Before we get into the story lets talk about the relationship between The Beatles and Jesus/God/Religion. So in 1966 the band was in the U.S. and in an interview John Lennon said his infamous quote "we are more popular than Jesus" which resulted in a huge hailstorm for him and the band, but that was it.

Well a few months later back in London, Paul McCartney was hanging around in his house when someone rang his doorbell. Like any normal person would do, he answer the phone "who is it?" and the person at the door simply said "I'm Jesus Christ". Paul, amazed by the unexpected answer simply replied "Oop, well you'd better come in" and let the stranger into his house and offered him a cup of tea.

Paul and this Jesus guy talked a bit and shared a cup of tea, you should keep in mind that this was the prime time of The Beatles fame, this guy managed to chat and drink with Sir Paul McCartney in his prime.

Later that day the band had a recording session in Regent's Sound Studio. Paul had to get there but the Jesus guy was still at his home so he simply invited him over to the studio. Paul just asked him to keep quiet and sit in a corner, and Jesus did just that, he entered the studio with Paul, and went to the corner. The other band members asked who he was and Paul told them it was Jesus Christ and everyone just shared a laugh and went on to record "Fixing a Hole" for their eight studio album. After the session everybody just went home and they never saw Jesus again.

When confronted by this story Paul told a reporter that he knew that guy was probably not Jesus, but if he was, he didn't want to be the guy that turned him away. And that's the story.

Imagine being that guy, he has one of the most awesome stories one can ever tell and I bet no one believes him until they google it.

I wonder what would happen today if someone just went to whoever is the top music star and ring his doorbell introducing himself as Jesus.
