Hey y’all! I’ve been working long and hard on FISH FEAR ME these past few weeks, and it’s time to start testing the new content out! This beta test includes:

  • Two new maps (Shipwreck Bay; Shadow Sea)

  • ~90 new fish

  • Five new boats

  • Like ten new weapons at this point

  • Tons of weird secrets

  • Inscrutable altars demanding sacrifice

  • An area that just straight up kills you if you stay there for too long

  • And more!

I’ve been putting a lot of work into making the game as big and weird and special as it can be, and your feedback is a huge part of making it all those things! Check it out!

HOW TO JOIN

  • Join the SNAKE FARM Speedrunning Discord (where the beta test is taking place): https://discord.gg/9w6WXY7E5r

  • Download the FISH FEAR ME Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3000120/FISH_FEAR_ME/

  • If you wish to backup your save, do so now using the instructions in the Discord linked above

  • Right click the demo in your Steam library and click on Properties

  • Go to Betas->Private Betas and input the beta password that you can find in the Discord linked above

    • (I know, being asked to join a Discord is a drag, but it’s far and away the best way to collect player feedback and let players talk to one another. It’ll be fun, I promise!)

  • Opt into the beta branch

  • Update your game

  • Have fun!

It’s been a delight watching testers figure out all the inscrutable nonsense that’s in this new game version. People are figuring out new busted builds by the day. I hope to see you there!!
