Mimo Merrow made her home in Glasgow having left her native Belfast not knowing what was to come.

She burst onto the music scene with her single ‘Freckles’ followed by her debut EP ‘Good Grief’ which soon had BBC executives beating a path to her door.

Support from the likes of Roddy Hart and some incredible collaboration later, she is flying high, and still holds a passion for all the artists who first inspired her.

But for a friend pushing her to step up on stage though, it might never have happened. In episode three, she explains how it did.
