🏠 Welcome Home Sunday
📅 Sunday, Sept 7 • 10am
📍 Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
We’re kicking off our new series, All In—because following Jesus isn’t easy, but what we gain in Him is worth everything. 🙌
After worship, stick around for a BBQ lunch 🔥🍽️🔥—good food, great company, and time to reconnect as a church family.
September Congregation Meeting
Following worship on Sunday, September 14 we will meet for a congregation meeting. We’ll meet to share updates on our Long-Range Strategic Plan, focusing on four key areas: Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, and Fellowship.
You’ll hear how we plan to:
Equip members for personal evangelism and community outreach.
Strengthen discipleship through Bible study and Christian training.
Enrich our worship life through music and meaningful liturgy.
Deepen fellowship with intentional care and connection.
This is a time to celebrate what God is doing, understand the path ahead, and see how you fit into His work.
Ladies Trip to NYC & LWMS Conference
Ladies trip to NYC!! Join us on Saturday October 18th. We will carpool and head to Queens, NY where we will attend the LWMS Conference. It’s a really neat church in NYC so come check it out and listen to a great speaker! After the conference we will head over to Manhattan. Courtney Giovinazzo is a bar tender at a unique place called Pocket Bar. The owner of the Pocket Bar is giving us 10% of everything and donating that 10% to the church! It’ll be a fun day in the Big Apple!! Reach out to Jessica Kegler or Sarah Goetzinger for car pooling details!
Upcoming Sunday

We all carry assumptions. Assumptions about God, about others, about what matters most. But when God speaks, he doesn’t simply affirm what we already believe to be true. His Word challenges us, disrupts our thinking, and reshapes us from the inside out. In this three-week series, Jesus has us rethink what’s true, what matters, and who’s honored in God’s Kingdom. Jesus doesn’t just offer new information—He gives us a fresh new perspective.
