Wednesday Evening Lent Series: The Hand of the Lord

All things are in the hands of Jesus. There is no power that is above Him. As we have seen throughout this series, Jesus continues to use those hands for our good and, above all, for our salvation. As we prepare to enter into Holy Week, we see the specific ways that those hands, into which the Father has given all things, have worked forgiveness, life, and salvation.

Foundations Class Continues This Saturday

Join us this Saturday at 9:30 am for the start of a new Foundations class. Foundations is an introduction to Biblical theology. You can take this course if you’re interested in learning more about the Bible or if you are interested in becoming a member of Good Shepherd. When you’re done with it, you will have a firm grasp on how the bible is all about Jesus, dozens of key Bible teachings, and lots of application.

Upcoming Sunday

This week we see how our Father makes the treasures of his house available to any and all. He places them in the last place we’d expect—the trash. In God’s family, the things the world prizes and pursues are counted as worthless. Conversely, what the world rejects and discards is considered priceless and worth pursuing. The best example of this is Jesus Christ himself. The Father sent his greatest treasure—God the Son—to earth. And many considered Jesus to be trash that needed to be taken out. . . a troublemaker that needed to be killed. In truth, Christ is the one who opens the way to God.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Explore the Book of Daniel with us and uncover the profound lessons it holds for living a life of faith in a secular world. We will see how Daniel and his friends’ experiences and God’s revelations to them offer timeless insights into God’s enduring faithfulness. Together, we'll learn how to navigate our own lives with trust in God's power and control.
