Good Shepherd Weekly 4/12
Crawl to the Cross
On May 7 we will hold our second Crawl to the Cross Stewardship Fellowship event, an opportunity for you to try out different RC trucks on various terrains while spending time with your friends. We will have brunch available during the “Drivers’ Meeting”, an instructional presentation by Reinhard, just like last year. This year we have added 2 new trucks and 2 new courses. Besides that both trails in the woods have undergone some improvements to add to the fun.
To help with our preparations we ask you to put your name on the signup sheet and the amount of drivers who will participate. Wear sturdy shoes to walk in the woods, you will be 4x4 off-roading to explore places on the property you never knew existed.

Sunday Morning Bible Study - Starts Apr. 23
What God teaches regarding men and women has been controversial since the fall into sin. But now Christians face new challenges. Gender is a hot-button issue. Hierarchical relations in the home, the church, and workplace can be tools of abuse. Christians need clarity on what God teaches about men and women as well as their God-given roles. In this study we will learn what the Bible says about gender, how men and women are to serve together in the home and the church, and how we can show the beauty of these teachings in our roles today.
Wednesday Zoom Bible Study - Starts Apr. 26
Mark gets to the point in his book when he wrote in the first verse, “The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.” That’s the last time he’ll give you his opinion of Jesus. He will show you what Jesus did. Mark includes more of Jesus’ miracles than the other gospel writers. He shows you that Jesus is on the move from Galilee to Jerusalem where he will die and rise again. He lets you watch Jesus and listen to him so that you can experience him for yourself. Mark shares these precious memories of Jesus, so that you too can be drawn into his story and share in his joy.
Upcoming Sunday
Thomas had been taught and trained by Christ himself. He heard Jesus predict his death and resurrection. Yet, even after hearing the eyewitness testimony of friends, Thomas had doubts. Today is a day of great comfort for any follower of Jesus who wrestles with doubt about God. When we show weakness of faith, Jesus does not reject us. Just as he did with Thomas, Jesus gives us proof and peace.
