Online Bible Study Resumes January 8
Wednesday Evening Bible Study will resume this Wednesday, January 8 at 7:00pm. This Bible Study is held on Zoom. If you need the link to the Zoom meeting please speak with Pastor Goetzinger. This quarter we will take a closer look at the readings for the upcoming Sunday.
Catechism Resumes January 8
Catechism instruction will resume this week. This is instruction offered to 6-8th grade students to prepare them for confirmation. Classes will be held Wednesday at 6:00pm (online) and Thursday at 7:15pm.
No Morning Bible Study January 12
There will be no Sunday morning Bible study on Sunday, January 12 as Pastor and Sarah will be out of town. In Pastor’s absence we will be welcoming Pastor Phil Hunter and his family who are visiting from Citrus Grove Lutheran Church in Wesley Chapel, FL.
Chili Cookoff February 2
Join us on Sunday, February 2, for our annual Chili Cook Off and Chocolate Chip Cookie Bake Off! For this special anniversary year we are introducing a new chili category. The categories this year are: Traditional Chili, Non-Traditional Chili, and Chocolate Chip Cookie. Sign up to participate in any or all categories, or just come and enjoy the entries and cast your vote. More information on the categories are on the sign up sheets located on the bulletin board.
We will also be holding a raffle that morning. Purchase raffle tickets for $1 each for a chance to win a prize! All proceeds will be going to support a mission. Stay tuned for more information. Hope to see you there!
English Improvement Resumed January 6
A new cycle of English Improvement classes began this week. This second cycle will offer two classes. The first class will be on Mondays at 10:30am. The other will be on Tuesdays at 6:00pm. We are anticipating 9 students this cycle.
Upcoming Sunday

Today we celebrate the Festival of the Epiphany. Epiphany comes from a Greek word meaning “reveal. When the Savior was born, he was first revealed to Israelites. But today, we see the Lord miraculously guides foreigners across countless miles so the Savior could be revealed to them as well. How did the respond? The Queen of Sheba was led to praise the Lord. The magi were overjoyed. We also rejoice in the good news that this child is a Savior for all people.
